Purpose:
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Early Childhood Development Practitioner.
An Early Childhood Development Practitioner plans and prepares early childhood activities, facilitates and mediates learning, observes and assesses the progress of children, and reflects on learning in an inclusive, play-based environment to support holistic development of children (from conception – school going) in different center-based or non-center-based settings.

After Completing this Course a candidate can progress to Early Childhood Development NQF Level 5Â
Upon successful completion of all three modules, learners are mandated to undertake an External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) at an approved assessment center.
Certificates are exclusively issued by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). Genius Business College will solely furnish statements of results.
The issuance of learner certificates by QCTO following EISA completion typically requires a processing period of 21 days.
This course will provide comprehensive information regarding the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) and its preparation. Additionally, learners will undergo a mock EISA to ensure thorough readiness for the assessment.
