ACCREDITATION INFORMATION
Genius Business College is accredited with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is a Quality Council established in 2010 in terms of the Skills Development Act (Act 97 of 1998) as amended in 2008.
The QCTO also offers guidance to skills development providers (private and public) and assessment centres who must be accredited by the QCTO in order to implement occupational qualifications.
Genius Business College is accredited with the Education, Training and Development Pratices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA).
The SETA is mandated to promote and facilitate the delivery of Education, Training and Development in order to enhance the skills profile of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) sector and contribute to the creation of employment opportunities especially for those previously disadvantaged.
Genius Business College is Accredited with The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (Mictseta)
The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is a public entity established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act No. 97 of 1998). The MICT SETA plays a pivotal role in achieving South Africa’s skills development and economic growth within the sub-sectors it operates namely; Advertising, Film and Electronic Media, Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Genius Business College is accredited with Service Seta.
Our primary function is to facilitate skills development through learning programmes like learnerships, skills programmes, internships and other learning programmes. We do this by disbursing grants to employers and skills development providers to offer training to employed and unemployed learners. As delegated by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), our role includes overseeing occupation-based training.
