Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Genius Business College. This Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions under which refunds may be considered. By enrolling in any course or programme, students and sponsoring parties acknowledge and accept this policy in full.

Important: Education and training services are time-bound, resource-intensive, and subject to regulatory oversight. Refunds are therefore limited and strictly controlled.

1. Application of This Policy

  • This policy applies to all courses, programmes, short courses, skills programmes, and qualifications offered by Genius Business College.
  • It applies to self-funded students, employer-sponsored students, and third-party funders.
  • Registration, payment, or participation constitutes acceptance of this policy.

2. Circumstances Where a Refund May Be Considered

  • Course Cancellation by the College: If Genius Business College cancels a course or programme and no suitable alternative is offered, a full refund of tuition fees paid may be issued.
  • Non-Delivery of Training: If the College is unable to deliver a registered course or programme as advertised and no reasonable alternative is provided, a refund may be considered.

3. Circumstances Where Refunds Will NOT Be Issued

  • No refunds will be issued for student withdrawal, absenteeism, or failure to participate.
  • No refunds will be issued where a student fails assessments, moderation, or portfolio requirements.
  • No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction based on expectations not expressly stated in writing.
  • No refunds will be issued due to delays caused by the student in submitting assessments or evidence.
  • No refunds will be issued due to delays in issuing Certificates or Statements of Results caused by SETA, QCTO, or any external accrediting or quality assurance body.

4. Regulatory & Third-Party Delays

Genius Business College is not responsible for processing times, verification delays, system backlogs, or administrative timelines of SETAs, QCTO, SAQA, or any related bodies. Such delays do not constitute non-delivery of training and do not qualify for refunds.

5. Administrative & Registration Fees

  • All registration, application, and administration fees are non-refundable.
  • These fees cover enrolment processing, learner registration, system access, and compliance administration.

6. Refund Request Procedure

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@geniusbusinesscollege.com.
  • The request must include the student’s full name, ID number, course name, proof of payment, and reason for the request.
  • Incomplete or verbal requests will not be considered.

7. Review & Decision

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Genius Business College will communicate its decision within five (5) business days of receiving a complete request. The College’s decision is final.

8. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days.
  • Refunds will be made to the original method of payment only.
  • Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, or third-party transaction costs will be deducted.

9. Policy Amendments

Genius Business College reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The version published on our official website shall apply. Continued enrolment or participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.
